Top 13 Best Sources For Premium Vectors
This page may contain links from our sponsors. Here’s how we make money.
There are a growing number of resources for finding free stock photography, vectors, Photoshop shapes, Photoshop styles, and all kinds of useful items for designers. But sometimes the quality you need will not be present with free items. Or maybe the free resources you find don’t allow for use on commercial projects. You may also spend more time searching for something of quality where paying for a premium resource would be a better alternative.
With that in mind, I’ve put together a small collection of the best sources for premium vectors. All of these websites offer high-quality illustrations, icons, and other vector files.
Best Websites for Premium Vectors
1. Best Overall: Vecteezy
Vecteezy is the #1 resource for high-quality vectors. They offer millions of vectors, including both free and premium. You can search by keyword or browse by category. There are also several helpful filters that are perfect for narrowing down the search results to find exactly what you’re looking for.
In addition to vectors, Vecteezy also offers stock photos and 4K stock videos. Photos and videos were added to the site in 2020 and they’re still building up those collections. The selection is very good, but not quite as strong as the selection of vectors.
Pricing is one of the reasons Vecteezy is at the top of this list. For just $9 per month, you can get a Pro subscription that allows you to download an unlimited number of vectors, photos, and videos. You could easily pay $9 for a single creative resource at another marketplace, so $9 per month for unlimited downloads is an amazing deal.
2. Best Value: Envato Elements
Envato Elements offers a massive collection with millions of creative resources. You’ll find vectors, stock videos, stock photos, fonts, graphic templates, audio files, web templates, and more.
The vector selection at Envato Elements is pretty good, but Vecteezy’s selection is much bigger and broader. Where Envato Elements really stands out is overall value. Most designers need a lot of creative resources, and Envato Elements is a bargain for anyone who frequently downloads these types of files.
There are more than 50 million resources available at Envato Elements, and a subscription of $16.50 per month will get you unlimited downloads. If you need a lot of vectors, plus other resources like fonts, presentation templates, print templates, mockups, photos, and more, you’ll love Envato Elements.
3. Depositphotos
Depositphotos is a royalty-free stock marketplace with over 230 million images, videos, and music files. 54 million vector art and graphics files provided by professional creators are available in SVG, EPS, PDF, and AI formats. Besides vector formats, raster images can also be found on the platform.
Depositphotos advanced filters allow you to search for desired vector images and illustrations in 26 languages. In addition to keyword search, you can also search by color, orientation, origin, location, and contributor.
To see how a vector image will fit into your design, download the watermarked preview available for any chosen file. The subscription and on-demand plans can be billed monthly or yearly, with Standard and Extended license options. With 70,000 free files offered by the Depositphotos stock media platform, you can also find high-quality vectors without purchasing a subscription.
4. Shutterstock
Shutterstock is one of the leading microstock photography sites in the world. In addition to photos and stock videos, Shutterstock also has a massive collection of vectors. When you search the site, you can select “vectors” from the dropdown so the search results will filter out the photos and videos. You can also use several filtering options to find what you’re looking for.
The price you pay for vectors at Shutterstock will depend on the option you choose. There are several different packs of credits you can buy, and prices per credit get lower when you buy more credits. Shutterstock also offers a few different subscriptions, with prices starting at $29 per month for 10 images.
5. VectorStock
VectorStock is a stock marketplace that focuses exclusively on vectors. You won’t find photos or any other resources here, just vectors. Some of the vectors are free and others must be purchased. You can buy a license for an individual resource, buy credits that you can use for downloads, or pay for a recurring subscription. Prices for subscriptions start at $49 per month and unlike Vecteezy and Envato Elements, VectorStock does not offer unlimited downloads.
The selection at VectorStock is good, but the price of subscriptions that don’t allow for unlimited downloads keeps VectorStock behind Vecteezy and Envato Elements in our rankings.
6. Creative Market
Creative Market is one of the best places to buy high-quality design resources like fonts, graphics, templates, and add-ons. They have a large selection of more than 1 million vectors, even though vectors make up only a small portion of their overall content.
Creative Market is different than many other sites on this list because as a customer, you’re purchasing from the designer or creator. Designers can create a shop on Creative Market to gain exposure and sell their products. Because of this, products are purchased individually and there’s no subscription option. Prices are set by the designers, so there’s a lot of variance from the pricing of one product to the next.
7. Designious
Designious offers thousands of vectors, fonts, patterns, and other resources you can use in your own design projects. All of the resources have been created by their team of designers, meaning, Designious is not a marketplace with third-party sellers or contributors.
Each product available at Designious can be purchased individually, or you can buy a membership to get the best value for your money. Membership pricing starts at $19 per month (which allows for 200 downloads per month). Designers who use a lot of resources will appreciate the lifetime membership offer, which costs a one-time fee of $349 for unlimited downloads.
8. Vexels
Vexels stands out from competitors by offering ready-made merch designs that are compatible with print-on-demand sites like Etsy, Redbubble, Merch by Amazon, Zazzle, and others. If you’re looking for a way to generate passive income, this could be an excellent option. Selling merch online has never been easier!
At Vexels, you’ll also find thousands of stock vector designs. You can browse and filter by niche or search by keyword to find what you’re looking for. Prices start at $7.50 per month, which gives you 100 downloads per month.
9. Freepik
Freepik offers a wide selection of resources, both free and premium. In addition to vectors, you’ll find photos and PSD files you can use in your own design projects. The selection of stock photos isn’t quite as significant as what you’ll find at the leading stock photo sites, but these resources are a nice add-on if you’re primarily interested in vectors and PSDs.
There are thousands of contributors adding new content to Freepik on a regular basis, so the selection is constantly improving. Pricing starts at just $9.99 per month, which gives you up to 100 downloads per day.
10. Flaticon
Flaticon is owned by Freepik, and as you can tell from the name, this site focused on icons. They offer millions of icons in vector format (SVG and EPS), as well as PNG, PSD, and many other formats. The site also includes a collection of stickers. If you’re looking for icons and stickers, Flaticon offers the best selection and value you’ll find anywhere.
Membership pricing starts at $8.25 per month, which allows you to download up to 2,000 icons per day. Web designs, UI designers, and graphic designers will love the unlimited access to this massive collection of icons.
11. Design Cuts
Design Cuts is a deal site for graphic designers. The offers on the site rotate, so you’ll find new offers each time you visit the site. And if you see something you like, you should grab it because it might not last for long.
Most of the deals found at Design Cuts are deeply discounted, and many of them are bundles that include a huge collection of resources. Some of the offers include vectors, but there are many other types of design resources available as well.
12. GraphicRiver (Envato Market)
GraphicRiver is part of the Envato family of websites. Several years ago, it was a standalone site. Now, it’s part of the Envato Market, along with ThemeForest. At GraphicRiver, you’ll find millions of design resources, including a good selection of vectors.
The selection of vectors at GraphicRiver isn’t as extensive as what you’ll find at Vecteezy and it doesn’t offer the same value as Envato Elements, but if you’re looking to purchase a single file and avoid a subscription payment, it could be a good option.
13. InkyDeals
InkyDeals features limited-time deals with deep discounts and big savings. Like Design Cuts, many of the deals feature huge bundles of resources. Some of the deals include vectors, illustrations, and icons, but you’ll also find a wide variety of resources for designers and creative professionals.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for high-quality vectors, all of the sites mentioned in this article are outstanding resources. We love the selection and value offered by Vecteezy, and Envato Elements is our favorite resource for design files and templates (not just vectors).
