The Cat Font
The Cat is a fun and bubbly typeface that we adore for its cute little cat illustrations built into various letters within the font. It includes both uppercase and lowercase letters and will look adorable on a variety of designs, like business cards for a cat-sitting business or product tags for pet products.
Meow Paw
This cute handwritten font is a favorite of ours. We’re absolutely in love with the cute tiny paw prints that decorate each letter! It’s the ‘purrfect’ choice for any cat or pet-themed designs you may be making, if we do say so ourselves.
Sweety Cats
Sweety Cats is a kids-inspired font that will bring a young and playful spirit to your project. The capital letters all have tiny cat ears drawn onto them. How cute is that?!
We think this font would look so cute on cat-themed birthday or Valentine’s Day cards. It will also look wonderful on book covers, logos, and other design formats.
Cat Meow
This font is the cat’s meow of cute handwritten cat fonts! We love this font for its variety (it comes in three variations, a regular/solid variation, a paw print variation, and a cat ears variation.) Of course, we also love that this font download comes with clipart doodles that can be used to add fun illustrations to your project. (You know we’re suckers for a font with bonus freebies!)
Use this font to design online graphics (maybe for a pet shelter or pet business website), decals for home goods (like pillows and mugs), or even apparel designs (like a graphic t-shirt).
Tabby – Layered Cat Font
Tabby is a layered font made up of a regular/solid font, a display font (with tabby cat stripes), and a shadow font. We’re a fan of layered fonts like this one because you can use the fonts separately or all together. It can be fun to mix and match!
Simple Cat
For a simpler look that’s still on theme, we recommend Simple Cat. The simple style of the letters really makes the cat and curlicue embellishments stand out
We also like that this font comes with a plain version of the font. In fact, we recommend using the decorative version on titles, headings, and short phrases and using the plain version for any smaller supplemental text your design may have. This will ensure your design is easy to read if it has a lot of text.
Misty the Cat
Misty the Cat brings plenty of feline charm to its designs! We chose to include this font because it comes with a wide variety of font variations and alternatives, plus it includes over 50 cat-themed doodles. (We told you we love fonts with free doodles, didn’t we?)
To use this font, type uppercase characters for the regular/solid version of the font and type lowercase characters for the decorative version that features tiny little paw prints along the letters.
Additionally, this font features three alternate styles: one with a fish-bone design on the letters, one with cat ear designs on top of the letters, and finally, one with a feather cat toy design on the letters. We recommend mixing and matching these for a fun look! And of course, be sure to top off your design with one of the many doodles that come with this font.
Cats Cute OTF Color Font
Add a pop of color to your cat-themed design with this OTF color font. We came across this playful font and couldn’t not include it in this list!
The creative set of characters are made up entirely of cat illustrations. Even the numbers and punctuation symbols come in cute illustrations. Choose your choice of color, black, or print versions of the font and use them to bring your next project to life.
Cats Black Font
Cats Black Font is pulled from the font family listed above, but we wanted to highlight it for any designers who wanted a black-and-white version of the font.
We think the illustrations look just as cute when used in all black and white as they do in color! (And of course, you can change the color as needed.)
Whether you use this font in print design projects or digital design projects, the adorable illustrative style of the letters will give your work plenty of personality.
Good Pawoo
This quirky bubble letter font is perfect for creating fun and easy-to-read designs. This font comes with both a regular version of the font and a decorative version with cute paw prints decorating some of the letters.

Catty Purry
If you’re looking for a chunky script font for your cat-themed designs, we definitely suggest Catty Purry!
Not only does it come with a regular solid version of the font, but it also includes tons of alternative character sets to choose from, including alternates with cat tails, cat ears, and even curlicue designs. With so much variety, you’ll be able to use this font over and over again!

Cat Lady
We absolutely love this cute decorative cat font, because each letter has its own style. When you put it all together as text, you get a seamless and cohesive design that takes a personality all its own.
For the best results using this font, we recommend using a mix of uppercase and lowercase characters to really spice up your design.

Moccat
Moccat is a cute script font inspired by the author’s own cat. We think it really does capture the sweetness, sassiness, and playfulness cats always seem to have.
The letters are written in an authentic handwritten style and feature dainty little cat ears on each letter. The font also comes with added doodles (which we love!) and alternate letters with swashes on the ends. (We recommend using these characters either for initials or at the beginning and end of a word or phrase so that the swashes ‘bookend’ the text.)
We can’t help but feel that this font would look outstanding on a Valentine’s Day card, but we know it will look amazing on any design you use it on.
Calli Cat – Layered Display Font
We couldn’t help but fall in love with this cute calico-inspired font, and we think you’ll love it just as much! Each letter is covered in a pattern resembling a calico cat’s fur, all covered in messy brown, white, and black spots.
The layers consist of the base layer (a regular font without the spots) and two patterned layers that make up the spot pattern. Since the patterned font may be hard to read in a long row of text, we suggest using the spotted font for titles and headings and the regular version for supplemental text on your design.
Cat Meow
Cat Meow is an adorable font with tiny cat characters and paw prints decorating each letter. This is another font we recommend using in titles and headings.
This font would look wonderful on a banner or decorations for a child’s birthday party (or a cat’s birthday party!), flyers for adoption events, and more.
Caturday
This font dials things back a bit with its linear letterform. Each letter is drawn to look like a cat. It’s a perfect font for any cat-themed project, but we think this font works especially well on designs that use short phrases, like greeting cards, graphic t-shirts, and other products.
